The Early Help Assessment Lead for Little Kinvaston School is Natalie Kirby, DDSL.

If an Early Help Assessment is needed, the Early Help Assessment Lead will generally lead on this liaising with other agencies and setting up an inter-agency assessment as appropriate. Staff may be required to support other agencies and professionals in an Early Help Assessment, in some cases acting as the lead practitioner.

Attendance

• Attendance data is monitored by assigned staff (Headteacher and School Attendance Welfare Officer).

• Regular reporting to Governors around attendance.

• Letters home, followed up by warning letters.

• First day calling.

• Home visits for attendance concerns.

• Termly Letters to all parents with Attendance Summary, Attendance is Everyone’s Responsibility and Attendance Promise documents.

• Monitoring groups in high mobility or absence requests.
